The Importance of Physical Attraction

So you see your dream guy or girl across the room. They're charming, smart, funny, and everything else you want. Only problem is they are slightly lacking in the looks department. Do you approach them? Surprisingly most people would say no. Although it might sound shallow, looks matter one way or another. Studies show that women are more likely to prefer facial features while men prefer the female body. Now this doesn't mean that you need to look like a super model to get a date, what this means is that you need to take an interest in your appearance and make an effort to improve it. Keep in mind that everyone's perspective of attraction is different and that there is no one look to make you attractive to everyone. Attraction has also been shown to build over time.
